Tatum and Brown Lead Comeback Victory

The Boston Celtics overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the Indiana Pacers 118-101 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 36 points, while Jaylen Brown hit a clutch 3-pointer to force overtime. After surviving overtime, the Celtics came out on top 118-101.

Pacers Push Celtics to the Limit

The Pacers came into the game as massive underdogs, but they played with heart and hustle throughout the night. Indiana took control of the game in the second quarter, building a 17-point lead. The Celtics fought back in the third quarter, but the Pacers still held a 7-point lead going into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Celtics finally found their rhythm and outscored the Pacers 35-25 to force overtime.

Tatum and Brown Take Over in Overtime

In overtime, Tatum and Brown took over for the Celtics. Tatum scored 6 of his 36 points in overtime, while Brown hit his game-winning jumper with 14 seconds remaining. The Pacers had one final chance to tie the game, but Victor Oladipo's 3-point attempt bounced off the rim. The Celtics came away with the 118-101 win, and now hold a 1-0 lead in the series.
